Susan McConnell creates fine art through photography. She traveled through Paris creating this collection entitled "Have you seen Paris like this?" Fresh and unique, her goal was to create a view of Paris that most people never see.
"I stayed at a small inn in Le Marais which is on the left bank of Paris and blends in with the Jewish Quarter. I shot in every area of Paris but my favorite ones tend to be the most colorful ones coming from Le Marais. The Jewish delicatessen, the ice cream cart and the Jewish pastry shop are simply the best. The reds and yellows jump. "
"Shooting from rooftops was thrilling. The air was cool and clean, like Paris, and the views were different than anything I had ever seen. My guides promised to take me to out-of-the-way places and they certainly delivered. Sometimes we had to walk many flights of stairs to get to the rooftops but the shots were worth it."
Susan has studios in Barrington, Illinois and on Martha's Vineyard.
